Restaurant

Our chef, David Horton, has devised a menu that will provide for all tastes from those seeking a  snack to a full three-course meal.  Tuesday night is Curry Club night when Dave uses his experiences in India to add a selection of currys to the menu.  Friday night is Fish & Chip Night’ to eat in or take away. On Sunday we serve a traditional Sunday Lunch with a choice of meats and, of course, vegetarian dishes are always available.

We would advise that you reserve tables for lunch, dinner and private hire. We can cater for most events and dietary requirements.

Recreation & Celebration

An added bonus for the pub is the skittle alley, which can be booked for skittle evenings as well as private functions.  There is also a pool table and darts board.

The Carington Arms is set in the centre of the delightful village of Ashby Folville adjacent to it’s picturesque cricket field; a popular location for marquee based Wedding Receptions.

On a respectful note, the pub is close to The Willows natural burial ground and a convenient location for Funeral Wakes which are handled with the sensitivity they deserve.

The Carington Arms Under New Management

Since the end of September the Carington Arms has been under new management headed by Catherine Kersey.  Catherine was formerly the manager of the cafe bar at the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham and has more recently project managed the opening of a successful new cafe bar attached to the Tyneside Cinema in the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.  She is assisted by her husband, Guy Kersey, an event management specialist.

The third member of the team is chef, Dave Horton, who brings his experience of producing good food at value for money prices.

They are supported by a cheerful team of bar and kitchen staff who aim to ensure you enjoy your visit to the Carington Arms.
