Catherine & Guy Kersey
Events & Games

We have a separate Skittle Alley, which can be booked for  small private functions.

The Carington Arms is set in the centre of the delightful village of Ashby Folville adjacent to it’s picturesque cricket field; a popular location for marquee based Wedding Receptions.

On a respectful note, the pub is close to The Willows natural burial ground and a convenient location for small Funeral Wakes which are handled with the sensitivity they deserve.

The Carington Arms Your Hosts

Since September 2015 the Carington Arms has been under the management of Catherine Kersey.  Catherine was formerly the manager of the cafe bar at the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham and project managed the opening of two successful new bars attached to the Tyneside Cinema in the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.  More recently she has been working with the Northumbria University Students Union and is a Trustee of Leicester’s Phoenix Cinema, Arts Centre and Cafe Bar.  She is assisted by her husband, Guy Kersey, an event management specialist and owner of Ortons Brasserie in Leicester.

The team is now joined by Head Chef, Maciek Migryt.  Maciek, originally from Poland, has been working in Brighton for several years so is very familiar with English food tastes.

They are supported by a cheerful team of bar and kitchen staff who aim to ensure you enjoy your visit to the Carington Arms. Join the team.
